Working on a new recording

We are recording 18 tracks right now! Two re-recordings from the 12", three from the 7" and the other 13 tracks are brand new songs. We have got help from Niels Nielsen who also have helped on/done recordings for Ghost, Maim, Glöm Dä!, Bastard Priest and of course his own NNDC. Using a skilled engineer really makes the difference and we can already hear that although we just started the recordings.

We got a bit shocked when we started the preproduction when we realized that a few of the songs actually were longer then two minutes, but don’t worry, we solved the problem by playing them faster!
On monday we will start to record guitars. We hope to in a month or two will be able to deliver 18 fast and furious songs to you!

The drums were recorded in Söderköping, the city who gave us Marduk and Acursed and now also provided us with hummus, snus and bananas to survive a two day drum recording session...

Review from Law and Order Fanzine:
I am more then a little ashamed over the fact that I haven´t payed much attention to this band untill now. Because to make a possibly long description short, this EP fucking rips. Five tracks are provided that all dwell somewere in the same hunting grounds as 7 Seconds. Fast and aggressive but with a clear sense of melody, thease songs are made for sing alongs and cirkel pits. "From the bottom of my heart, I love this life" sums up the possitive aggressive message and the celebration of hardcore that Energy is all about. We´re also provided a cover of "Media blitz" by The Germs, which is okey but not nearly as fantastic as Brutal Truth´s version. Damage´s own songs are a lot more intressting, really.

After Initially being released by the band themselves through the Eldsjäl initiative, a re-press has been done by No Front Teeth Records. No excuse then to act as foolish as me.
